About
A diary that stays with you
TAEONIA is a diary for iPhone and Android that keeps everything on the phone, encrypted, and asks for nothing in return.
Why it exists
A diary is the most private thing people write, and most diary apps ask for an account, keep entries on a server or show ads next to them. TAEONIA starts from the other end: the diary belongs on the device, and the app has nowhere to send it.
What we promise — and what we do not
The app has no account, no server, no analytics and no ads. Entries are encrypted on the phone, and the PIN takes part in the encryption. Because there is no copy with us, we cannot restore a diary without your backup, and nobody can reset the PIN. We say this before you start, not in small print.
How it is paid for
The diary itself is free. TAEONIA Horizon adds memories, plans, templates, transcription and more — monthly, yearly or as a one-time purchase that includes future updates. There are no ads anywhere.
Who makes it
TAEONIA is made by Oleksandr Perov in Munich, Germany. Contact: info@taeonia.com.
